Opsec can be a difficult thing
we are going to analyze good and bad opsec and maybe have some examples thrown in there
this is a barebones breakdown so its gonna be missing a few elements but the basic point should get across of good opsec

What is OPSEC
OPSEC or Operations Security is the practice of keeping yourself secret from spying eyes
Bad Opsec can result in you getting compromised and raided
OPSEC is not taken seriously as people keep getting caught due to shit opsec
I'm gonna give you examples of bad opsec 

Omnipotent
had many major opsec failures when he decided to go on vacation to the united states and brought his laptop that he ran raidforums on. luckily he was let off the hook but that's not the worst. That title goes to when Omnipotent Made a BTC account using coinbase and gave his actual ID and Home Address. to the coinbase account he used to verify payments

Coinbase if you didnt know is more then happy to give information to glowwies

How did Omnipotent get arrested you may ask on January 31, 2022 Omnipotent decided to take a trip to the United Kingdom to see his dying mother glowfags and uk are besties so wasn't that hard to crackdown on Omnipotent

pompompurin
pompompurin was a really really good hacker and always covered his tracks making it hard for glowwies to catch him until he started slacking
pompompurin used his laptop at a local coffee shop (without a vpn i assume) fedbois went to ISP and connected the dots which allowed them to bust down poms door and seize his equipment

10 COMMANDMENTS OF GOOD OPSEC
Fallow these if you want decent opsec

1st DO NOT POST PERSONAL INFORMATION ONLINE COPS WILL ANYLIZE IT AND TRACK YOU DOWN

2nd ALWAYS USE A VPN THERE ARE SERVICES LIKE PROTON VPN OR [MULLVAD THAT ENSURE YOUR PRIVATE AND SECURE DO NOT USE NORD VPN OR ANYOTHER VPN SERVICE THEY WILL FED YOU

3rd HAVE A PGP KEY PGP KEYS ARE A GREAT WAY TO VERIFY IF A MESSAGE IS SENT OUT BY YOU PLEASE HAVE A PGP KEY FOR ANY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENTS OR MESSAGES I HAVE PROVEN PEOPLE NEED THIS WHEN I COULD MAKE AN ACCOUNT ON EXPOSED.VC NAMED Impotent

4th USE TOR IF YOU CAN TOR + A VPN IS A GREAT WAY TO HIDE YOURSELF ONLINE

5th DO NOT USE YOUR HACKER ALIS OUTSIDE OF HACKING YOU CAN HAVE OPSEC FAILURE IF YOU DO

6th DO NOT USE YOUR MAIN RIG FOR HACKING GET A CHEAP LAPTOP AND LOAD PARROT ONTO IT IF COPS KICK DOWN YOUR DOOR THEY WILL SEIZE ALL YOUR DEVICES ITS HARD TO CARRY ARROUND A 25+ KG COMPUTER WHILE RUNNING AWAY

7th ALLWAYS CLOSE OR LOGOFF YOUR DEVICE WHEN YOUR USING IT IN PUBLIC THIS IS HOW THE FEDS CAUGHT ROSS ULBRICHT

8th USE PUBLIC WIFI IF YOU USE YOUR HOME WIFI FOR DOWNLOADING A DB YOU WILL BE CAUGHT

9th OPT OUT OF ALL DATA COLLECTION (FOR THINGS LIKE DISCORD ETC) IF YOU CAN

10th DO NOT USE GOOGLE USE DUCKDUCKGO

So you wanna be "unknown" on the internet. Well this is for you I will tell you everything I know that works as of now that me and others have been doing for a LOOOOONG time.

1) OS
Now what do I mean by OS. Well this is the thing that your using now to use your PC like windows or linux or hell even mac
What OS should I use? Well this comes down to the end user. You can use windows which I do not recommend unless you find one that removes all of windows spy shit on it.
I use this cool little OS called qubes os. And with it I use this cool build in thing called Whonix. If your PC can't run qubes then you can just use tails os.

2) VPN
Now in all my time of uploading DB and other things on the web I have never really used a VPN. Why? Well with things like Whonix or even tails everything I do it done by a TOR node which in itself is a VPN just without the cool little GUI shit and so on.
You can use a VPN if you want and the one I love is mullvad and I know your tired of hearing that name but its true hate it or not.

3) Emails
Never use your gmail for anything. What I love to use it a full list of TOR email services that are free. The ones I use the most are dnmx,torbox, and SecTor.City. These are well known and are good to use on TOR and ONLY USE THE TOR LINKS

4) DON'T TELL ANYONE
We all know the saying "It be your own people" well this is true and I hate to say it but the Police will ask your friends what they know and will tell them lies to get what they want so this is why you don't tell people about you using TOR and never use your name that you use on forums outside of them

5)Hard Drive Encryption
Now this is should be your number one thing since when the Police come and rape you they will take anything that is tech (yes even a pocket pussy that has BT). Now how can we make life hard on the so Call detectives? Hard drive encryption that's how. Now you are gonna need to look around for some good ones but I like veracrypt but you can use something else. I would recommend making it so after 3 failed tries the hard drive will be wiped so now the Police have no proof that you did anything.

One thing I wanna go back to is the no VPN thing and that is most people who has been found on TOR was because they forgot to use the TOR nodes on some IRC chats but that's it. anywho I hope you loved this kinda long thing and hope the Police don't come for you any time soon .
